Blog Entry: Hello Sweaterdoves, I am glad to have found this site. I'll be popping in from time to time writing and corresponding. I hope to find some friends here and participate. I am an avid song lyrics guy. I love to listen to the lyrics in songs and think about their meaning. There is just something so powerful about the emotion of words when set to the right music. The first song I want to take a quick look at is "Heaven", a romantic song from my younger years. Whenever I listen to it, I remember all of the idyllic dreams and notions I had about love. ------- Oh - thinkin about all our younger years There was only you and me We were young and wild and free Now nothin can take you away from me Weve been down that road before But thats over now You keep me comin back for more Baby youre all that I want When youre lyin here in my arms Im findin it hard to believe We're in heaven And love is all that I need And I found it there in your heart It isnt too hard to see Were in heaven Oh - once in your life you find someone Who will turn your world around Bring you up when youre feelin down Ya - nothin could change what you mean to me Oh theres lots that I could say But just hold me now Cause our love will light the way ---------- One of the most powerful lines in this song for me is "Now nothin can take you away from me

But thats over now" How wonderful a situation to have when you can say that so confidently. It really reflects a mature love, one that has weathered the ages. Makes me feel all warm inside. Another verse that I really identify with is: "Baby youre all that I want When youre lyin here in my arms Im findin it hard to believe We're in heaven" I have felt this, lying next to that special someone. The feeling of complete and utter peace. It can sometimes be unbelievable to feel so content.
