well in general, addiction to porn can definately become a real problem. So this could possibly be a red flag that he is a creep. You'll have to get to know him and be the judge of that though. But on a lighter note, atleast he is looking at more realistic, large figured, and curvy women that are often shunned by the media.

He's not a weirdo at all. Men like porn. Aside from feeling slightly shocked, did the magazines offend you or change the way you feel about this guy? That's the important thing. Sure, maybe it was a little indiscreet of him to leave them out in the open, but which would you prefer? A guy who is open about things like that, or someone who is secretive and hides it away and possibly would lie about it? To answer your further point, clearly you are unsure of your feelings about this, so yes you should definitely talk to him about it. In a nice friendly non-confrontational way. His reaction will tell you all you need to know.

Yeah, I think he sounds normal. He probably should have put them away if he knew company was coming over though lol. As far as talking to him about it, well I guess if leaves them out in the open than they're fair game in the conversation department. At least that's what I think.

I guess it was my Catholic upbringing that did it! lol.  Seems like the consensus is that its ok.  It will take some getting used to.  Thanks for all the support and feedback!  Do you think I should talk to him about it?

Haha sounds like he is a fairly normal guy then.

Except for leaving the magazines out in the open.  Tell him to put them under his mattress like the guy I knew.  :)
