We women have come so far in the last 50
years. I know there is still a way to go, but I wonder. Do
you think we will be running things eventually? A lot of the
worlds major wars and problems seem to be related to male agression and
ego. Perhaps the natural course of societal development leads to
women ruling a calmer, less agressive world. What do you all
think?

Wow, I don't know, I've never thought of it. I guess you could be right on many levels. I don't know how that would work out. I'll have to think about it and get back to you on that one. On the surface at least , it sounds great...

I don't think Man or Woman should Rule the world. As much as it sounds great in theory for women to take over, I don't think it is ideal. I personally would just like there to be balance. For us to actually be equal. I think balance is the key to life and until that is figured out things will continue to go as they are now.

I think I would like to live in a matriarchal world but I don't think it would ever happen...man are too proud.

I know it is one sided to use only one example but, what was the most well known matriarchal society? The amazons, ne? And they were anything but peaceful.

I dont really know. I think if it comes down to sheer force it is going to be the men because they are naturally stronger. I have hope though that women will be able to outsmart them, but that has to happen before they realize it and take the strong arm route.

I dont think either sex is capable of being fully repressed. history has shown in the past that it wasnt possible. We are each better suited to different roles though and there is nothing wrong with that.
