Do you think bras really do help prevent sagging as we get older? Do you really think they are necessary or just part of our accepted culture?

I've never really read a study on it, but I think the support helps them fight gravity for as long as possible. I know that I am a little weird and probably mostly by myself on this one, but I wear a bra all the time. The only time I don't wear one is when I'm bathing or swimming.

I actually started wearing a bra all the time when I first got pregnant. The support helped the very sensitive and then very large breasts during the pregnancy. And, then when I had the baby, I wore a bra w/ pads so I wouldn't leak all over the place at night. Then, it became a habit. I think it's more comfortable w/ one than w/out.

I actually read somewhere that they are really important in preventing excessive sagging.  If there is the slightest chance that they will reduce sagging at all, I'm wearing them.

I dont know.  I think they do.  A friend of mine who have never worn bras since she was about eighteen complains about how saggy her breasts have become.  She doesnt want to wear them still, does everything the natural way.
