Does anyone have a magic formula for cleaning wood floors? Whenever I use that shine stuff, it ends up leaving a film. So, right now I just use water. Does anyone have anything tried and true that they use?

You shouldn't use water, it's bad for the wood, and could eventually turn it brown.  I use Pacific floor cleaner, by some company called Bona.  That works pretty well.

That sounds interesting. I didn't know that about the water. Where do you find that kind of cleaner? Does it leave any kind of film on the floor?

I use the swiffer wet jet for wood floors.  Cleans the floors right up and I know it is safe.  Otherwise I swiffer them and use a spray wood cleaner to make sure I get everything up and that the floor is nice and glossy.

I use Murphy's Wood soap. I've never noticed it leaving a film and it seems to clean very well.
