This year, I am having a horrible time with our Christmas tree. Everytime someone brushes up against it, it loses a shower of needles and they end up on the floor. Is there anything I can do to stop so many from falling?

Not really, but they do sell little place mat things that you can put down around the tree that generally look rather pretty, and you can quickly pull it up, and poor the needles in the trash.

That sounds pretty good. Where do you find them? Do you know what they are called?

They're called tree skirts.  They are decorative "rugs" that have a slit to allow easy placement and removal.  The look great under the tree and make cleanup a snap!

Hmmm.... all very helpful information, but not quite what I was getting at. I am wondering if there is a product that helps trees keep their needles longer so they won't fall off in the first place.
