How do you feel about the recent Michael Vick dog fighting ring story?  How do you feel about cockfighting, hog tying, bull fighting, etc.?  Do you think animals have rights?  Do you think animals should be used for entertainment?  Do you know of any other kinds of similar animal fighting/exhibition?  Is our opinion of animal cruelty defined by our cultural sensibilities?

Its probably good to make an example out of someone famous.  Now more people will be less likely to do that kind of thing.

This place is great!

I think it is all very disturbing. I used to work in the mental health field with children. Whenever we saw someone who was abusive to animals, it was a HUGE sign that there was something very disturbing going on-either a reaction to abuse, a social conduct disorder, or a child lacking remorse.
