What do you think about the use of steroids and growth enhancement drugs as they relate to professional and amateur sports?  If the league was silent on drug use, why is it a scandal now?  Was the league complicit in the scandal in order to gain from the benefits of superhuman performance in baseball?  To what extent would you go to keep up with the competition if they were all doing something that is less than fully ethical?

I think the main reason they dont like the use of steroids is because its a bad example for our kids.  Its kind of cheating.

This place is great!

I would hope that we still have some standard of behavior in this country. Our country was founded by people with strong moral beliefs (whether they acted on them or not, who really knows). Sometimes you do or don't do something just b/c it's the right thing to do. If Americans become tolerant of drug use in sports, where will it end?

I don't agree with their use for many reasns, but I can understand why sports organizations have been quiet about the whole thing all this time.  After all, steroids were made for athletes.
