What are your views on cloning??  I was reading a recent Newsweek and it had an article on it saying all the different animals they have cloned thus far.  I have to admit I was waaaaaay behind since I was only aware of 1 animal being cloned.  Anyhow, what do you all think??  I think it is cool and all but I must admit I am a little worried.  Maybe I have seen to many movies but sometimes the thought of what humans can do eventually worries me!

How horrible I would never liked to be cloned. I think human making is gods job not mens and I find it unnatural. The vision of another me gives me goosbumps.

You have to remember though, a clone of you won't be exactly like you.  Yeah, they may be physically and all of that, but you have to remember, they take the same time to mature as you do.  If you have a clone made at 30, when it is 30, you will be 60, and there will be visible differences.  Other then that, it isn't an argument of nature vs. nurture, it's a mix of both, their life experiences will help shape who they are, and they will not be the same as you.  If you made a clone of an infant, it would be able to grow up in the same way a twin would, and as I'm sure you can all agree, identical twins may be identical in looks, but they are in no way the same person.

I dont think it is a good idea, especially since it isnt at all natural.  If nature intended for their to be multiples it would of made sure we were all twins but that wasnt the case. In fact nature made very sure there was a system in place to stop multiples at all costs, sometimes it doesnt work fast enough though.

I think only dolly ever made the news because she was the first and more sucessful.  I have read other places about their being other animals cloned, but they either died soon after or had malformations
