Do you prefer fake or real nails?

I like to keep my natural nails nice and get them done regularly.  All my girlfriends get fake ones though.  Most of them say they get the fake ones put on because they can't keep their natural nails nice looking. 

I like to keep my real nails healthy so I don't use fakes.  Luckily, I can keep mine for now.  If I ever did have to switch I would, but I wouldn't do them all the time like I know some omen do, they need time to get back to good condition before you get them done again.

I have had fakes since I was fifteen and could pay to get my nails done myself.  My nails have never been really healthy so I always wanted to have them done.  As long as you give your nails after every couple of mani, they should be fine.

I used to have fakes.  I found out my nails grow too fast and my cuticles--well, they need lots of TLC.  I had to go every week for fill ins and it drove me crazy.  I just gave it up and now I try to do my own manicures.  But some days, I am so tempted.
