All this talk about the Russians going into Georgia.  Our media for the most part makes them out to be villains.  But what I didnt know was that the US made an agreement with Russia when they divided.  We promised we wouldnt expand NATO past a certain area in their region.  We went back on that promise.  Now they seem to be flexing their new muscles and wealth.  Can we blame them?

The US never makes mistakes!  Just kidding.  Its hard to tell what the truth is.  And we dont know the details of the supposed agreement.

Not as bad as you think

People in power usually want only one thing...more power.  The US and Russia both work in their own interests.  Its not surprising. We should be a WORLD community instead of divided into nation states.

That may be true, but should NATO really deny countries the right to join them just because of where they lay?  If they have the same political beliefs and agree with an organization why shouldn't they be allowed to join?  It's significantly different then invading and forcing a country to do something it doesn't want to.
