Seems like McCains new VP pick is a believer of Intelligent Design. Intelligent design is the assertion that "certain features of the universe and of living things are best explained by an intelligent cause, not an undirected process such as natural selection."

Not as bad as you think

I'd like to hope that there is a creator out there something or someone responsible for all of this. I'd hate to think that it's just a random accident and we're all at the whims of chaos. The world is so full of injustice and cruelty though its looking less and less likely.

Fired up about my Republican sisters!

The difference between intelligent design and evolution is like the difference between fairy tale and fact. Evolution is based on science and testing of endless theories and facts. Creationism/Intelligent Design is based on nothing more than hearsay and imagination. As a teacher, I would strongly protest the brainwashing of our kids into believing that somehow intelligent design is on the same level as evolution.
