Will McCain beat whoever is the nominee?  The Republicans have a really strong machine.

No clue.  This whole Hillary/Obama thing has been really bad for the democratic party all together.  But you have to remember, alot of people are blaming Bush(and more so the republicans in general) for the deficit, the recession, gas prices, the war, and so much more, so it might be an up hill fight.
